Make Global changes to the Data Tables

Through the Maintenance menu option, it is possible to make changes to data in all of the data tables by selecting the Global Data Updates option. This option will allow the user to change the standard values in the tables by either a flat amount or a percentage of the current amount.

 

On the main console, select 'System Options' (a Level 1 Administrator password is required) and click the 'Global Updates' button.

 

In the Global Data Updates Screen, you may select to make changes to either the Equipment tables, Filter tables or the Belt tables. Within the Equipment section, you have the option of making changes to the 'Annual Inspection' data, the 'Operational Inspection' data, or the 'Repairs' data sections. Within the Filters section, the two areas eligible for changes are the 'Per Filter Labor Hours' data, and the 'Per Filter Materials Cost' data areas. Within the Belts section, the two areas eligible for changes are the 'Per Belt Labor Hours' data, and the 'Per Belt Materials Cost' data areas.

 

Within the 'Equipment', 'Filters' and the 'Belts' areas, you have the option of changing the values contained in the tables by either a flat amount or a percentage of the original value.

 

To change the value by a flat amount, select the 'Flat Amount' option and enter the amount of the change in the text box to the right of the option button.

 

To change the value by a percentage of the original value, select the 'Percent' option and enter the amount of the percentage change in the text box to the right of the option button.  

 

When finished, click the 'Update' button to save the changes.
